USB On-The-Go (often referred as USB OTG) support is one of the greatest features of android. It allows us to get the most out of our android phone and tablet. This is also one of the many reasons why android is better than iPhones as iPhones do not support USB OTG.
What is USB OTG?
USB OTG is a specification which allows us to connect our phone with various types of devices. These devices include keyboard, mouse, flash drives and much more. In this process, your phone works as a host and allows other devices to interact with it as a peripheral. This feature is first introduced in 2001 and since then it has improved a lot.
In simple words, USB OTG is the feature which gives us the opportunity to use our android phone or tablet as a mini computer. Where we can connect almost all devices which we connect with our PC using USB hub.
