Top Cricket Games for Android in 2017
1.World Cricket Championship 2
By NextWave Multimedia Inc: FREE (In-App Purchases)
The first in the list of top cricket games for Android is World Cricket Championship 2 game. The game is the next version of the very popular World Cricket Championship 2 game. The developer Nextwave Multimedia Inc has improved overall gaming experience with this version. The game gives you 3D immersive experience while playing.
World Cricket Championship 2 has all the game modes to play including quick play, test match, tournament and practice session. Along with that, it has more modes such as Challenge a Friend and Gangs of Cricket. It has 27 famous stadiums such as London, Delhi, Lahore, Harare etc. You can choose the weather and pitch condition in the quick play mode.
Considering the graphics and sounds, World Cricket Championship 2 is no doubt the best. It has a wide array of shots including the very famous dil-scoop, uppercut and helicopter shot. Fielders dive to the field and catch the ball in the game. I personally liked the ability to ask for a review if you think the umpire has wrongly given you out. The commentary is also a great feature to enjoy the game. Even you can choose Hindi commentary if you are an Indian gamer. Overall World Cricket Championship 2 game has all a gamer needs from a cricket game. Read the full review of World Cricket Championship 2 game here.

2.Real Cricket™ 16
By Nautilus Mobile: FREE (In-App Purchases)
Real Cricket 16 game is another cricket game available on the play store right now. It is launched during the first quarter of 2016. And since then it continued to be one of the top cricket games for Android. It has numerous modes including net sessions, test matches, tournaments and exhibition etc. The game lets you choose from 16 international teams to compete. It also gives the option to select from 8 league teams which contain star players from across the globe.
The graphics of the Real Cricket™ 16 are not as good as World Cricket Championship 2. But you can’t say that they are bad. Developers have compromised with graphics and sound effects a little bit just to make game lightweight. The game loads fast and animations are fluid enough to excite you.
The manual fielding setup mode is not there in the Real Cricket™ 16. But still, you can choose from a wide variety of preset fielding set up. All in all the game is very competitive and addictive. If you are a cricket games lover just like me then you will enjoy this game for sure.
3. ICC Pro Cricket 2015
By Indiagames Ltd: FREE (In-App Purchases)
ICC Pro Cricket 2015 is the official cricket game of ICC. The developer of the game is very famous Indiagames Ltd. which is known for developing many amazing games. ICC Pro Cricket 2015 is one of the best 3D cricket games and has real player names. It gives the game more lifelike feel. The game has 14 international teams which have participated in 2015 cricket world cup.
Talking about controls, the game has innovative controls especially for bowling. You can now select the length by tapping the screen to stop the bar. And then swipe over the pitch to select the line of the ball. The speed of the ball is decided by the speed of your swipe. The controls are not traditional hence it becomes harder to select line and length sometimes. But at the same time, it increases the competition level of the game.
ICC Pro Cricket 2015 is no doubt one of the top cricket games for Android. If you haven’t played this game. Then you definitely are missing the excitement of a true cricket gaming experience. Go and download ICC Pro Cricket 2015 for Android and hit the ball out of the park.
4. Power Cricket T20 Cup 2017
By Games2Win.com: FREE (In-App Purchases)
Power Cricket T20 Cup 2017 is a T20 formate-based cricket game for Android. It is a simple 2D game with lots of features. The game has four modes including Challenge, net, tournament and super over mode. In net practice, you can practice and make your hitting or bowling perfect for matches. You can choose from 14 cricket playing nations including India, Pakistan, Australia etc.
Though the Power Cricket T20 Cup 2017 game is not graphically amazing. But the animations in the game look great and realistic. The controls are simple to learn and use. It has only three buttons to play a shot in the desired direction. And using only these three buttons you can play a wide variety of shots. These include dil-scoop, helicopter, reverse sweep and much more.
If you are a casual gamer and want to enjoy cricket without much hassle. Then this game is perfect for you. The size of the game is also smaller than most of the top cricket games for Android. Hence it loads in seconds and does not eat battery and RAM heavily. Overall Power Cricket T20 Cup 2017 is one of the top cricket games for Android.
5. Cricket Career 2016
By Zealcity: FREE (In-App Purchases)
Cricket Career 2016 is a cricket game by developer Zealcity. The concept of this game is different from all of the top cricket games for Android. It is based on the career building as an individual player. You have to create a player at the start of the game. And then use this player to build your cricket career. You have to play and perform better to get points and experience.
This reminds me of career mode on earlier versions of very famous football game series Real Football by Gameloft. Along with a unique concept, the game also has a variety of features to praise. It contains over 300 domestic and 10 national teams to choose from. The game has excellent real-time 3D graphics and outstanding sound effects.
The game is one my favorite best Android games which I used to play often. And I assure you will also love the overall gaming experience with this game. One thing which I don’t like in the game is its player’s faces. I think developers have paid a huge amount to one of the famous Indian cricketer Murali Vijay. That is why they have given the face of Murali Vijay to every player in the game. However, this is not a big issue to talk about. The game is one of the most engaging, amazing and interesting cricket games for Android.
All the games on the above list are great in terms of features and gameplay. But if I have to choose one or two of them as ‘the best’. Then I would definitely go for World Cricket Championship 2 followed by Cricket Career 2016. These two are the top cricket games for Android in 2017 in my opinion.
Now, it is your turn to tell us your views. Which cricket game do you think is the best cricket game for Android? How many of these top cricket games for Android have you played? Do tell us in the comments. If you liked this list then share it on Facebook or any other social platform. Subscribe for more amazing information about Android.
